Junior High Families: our Junior High Back to School BBQ will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd from 5:30-7:00p.m. Come enjoy the BBQ, learn information about next year's Junior High, and receive your student's schedule.

Dear Pacific Union Families,
We hope this letter finds you and your family doing well. As you have been notified, there will be some staffing changes happening at Pacific Union. With Dylan Trujillo leaving, we will be altering our afternoon bus schedule. For the remaining Mondays of the 2022-2023 school year, a Northern Humboldt bus will be dropping off students at the Town and Country/Boyd Road stop. This will only be in effect for the remaining 7 Mondays that we will have school this year.
On Tuesdays-Fridays, the Town and Country/Boyd Road students will be on Bus 1 with all other students. The Town and Country/Boyd Road stop will be the third stop on the route. Other stop times on the route may be impacted by this. We will begin having all students ride together on Bus 1 this Friday, April 21. Please know that there will be ample seating for all students that ride the bus.

Pacific Union DELAC (District English Language Acquisition Committee) is raising money to offer baile folklorico classes and more for Pacific Union students. Drive through dinner tickets are available this week. The dinner includes 2 enchiladas (chicken or vegetarian), rice, beans, water, and a slice of pie (pumpkin or apple). Tickets are presale only and available this week. The drive through dinner will be on Friday, December 9th, from 4:00-6:00. What a great opportunity to have dinner prepared for you while supporting our school!
Please remember that tomorrow, 11/11, is Veterans Day and there is no school. Next week is parent conference week with each school day ending at 12:35.
Do you need a COVID test for your child? Our office has them available to ensure the safety of our students. Please don't hesitate to come pick up tests.

The 2022-2023 school year calendar has a typo, stating that the 2nd trimester ends on February 10, which is incorrect. The calendar will submitted to the school board at the August board meeting to address this error. Please note the second trimester ends on March 10.

Registration for the 2022 Summer Bridge Program is open. This summer school opportunity will be offered from June 21-July 8 (no classes on July 4th) from 8:30-12:00. These 12 days of enrichment are available to all! Download and fill out the enrollment form or come to the office to pick one up to reserve a spot!
