National Holiday:
Did you know there are only a few places you can go in the world and not find a Starbucks? For those of you who may the plethora of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drink options this establishment may offer, then this is your day. Today is National Starbucks Day!

Some Things to Remember for Students:
· Students attending the pumpkin patch field trip, please be on your best behavior. Listen to the adults in charge. Don’t forget to have fun!
· Remember to follow the rules and listen to the yard monitors before school starts.
· Next Friday we will have our fall assembly/rally.
Some Things to Remember for Parents:
· Can you donate a pumpkin for the fall carnival? Pumpkins need to be unblemished and brought to your kiddos teacher ASAP. They will be painted and auctioned off at the carnival.
· Volleyball tournament starts today! Thank you to all of those who have stepped up and filled in volunteer spots for this weekend.
· Next DELAC committee meeting will be Monday October 2nd at 6:00pm in the library.
So, with all of that, let’s go take advantage of the opportunity we are given today. Always do your best to be safe, be responsible, and be respectful.
Remember, you have the power to make it a great day or not. However, the choice is yours.

¡Buenos días Escuela Pacific Union y feliz viernes! ¡Hoy es 29 de septiembre!
Fiesta Nacional:
¿Sabías que hay pocos lugares en el mundo a los que puedes ir y no encontrar un Starbucks? Para aquellos de ustedes que disfrutan de la gran cantidad de opciones de bebidas con y sin cafeína que este establecimiento puede ofrecer, entonces este es su día. ¡Hoy es el Día Nacional de Starbucks!
En esta fecha en la historia de Estados Unidos:
Algunas cosas para recordar para los estudiantes:
· Estudiantes que asisten a la excursión al huerto de calabazas, por favor tengan su mejor comportamiento. Escuche a los adultos a cargo. ¡No olvides divertirte!
· Recuerde seguir las reglas y escuchar a los monitores del patio antes de que comiencen las clases.
· El próximo viernes tendremos nuestra asamblea/rally de otoño.
Algunas cosas para recordar para los padres:
· ¿Puedes donar una calabaza para el carnaval de otoño? Las calabazas deben estar impecables y llevarse al maestro de su hijo lo antes posible. Serán pintados y subastados en el carnaval.
· ¡El torneo de voleibol comienza hoy! Gracias a todos aquellos que dieron un paso al frente y llenaron lugares de voluntariado para este fin de semana.
· La próxima reunión del comité DELAC será el lunes 2 de octubre a las 6:00 pm en la biblioteca.
Entonces, con todo eso, aprovechemos la oportunidad que hoy se nos brinda. Haga siempre lo mejor que pueda para estar seguro, ser responsable y respetuoso.
Recuerda, tú tienes el poder de hacer que sea un gran día o no. Sin embargo, la elección es tuya.
